All orders placed on this website will be subjected to the present general terms and conditions. These conditions of sale are intended to define the rights and obligations of the parties that derive from them. We inform you that as you are placing an order on line, your agreement to the content of these terms and conditions does not require a handwritten signature.

Please note that these terms and conditions are subject to change during the year, but by accepting them, you do express your complete acceptance of the current terms and conditions on the day you place your order.

Article 2 / Pickslim offers

2.1. Conditions of offers
Our offers on products and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the site.
In the event of unavailability of products not in stock after placing the order, we will inform you by mail as soon as we receive your order. We will suggest you a replacement solution and if we cannot reach an agreement, your order will automatically be cancelled and if your account has been debited, you will be refund.

2.2. Identification of products
Most of the photographs, texts, diagrams, nutrition factsheets and instructions come from documents made by laboratories or manufacturers with their agreement.
Photographs are not contractual. 

2.3. Product marketing
The products which we offer are in accordance with the legislation and with the applicable standards in France. In the particular event where an order does not contain the leaflet in english, Pickslim undertakes to provide you with an add-on on paper or electronically. Our responsibility could not be undertaken in the event of non respect of the legislation of the country where the product is to be delivered. It’s up to you to check with the local authorities the possibilities of importation or use of the products or services you order.

2.4. Contraindications and allergens
As for all diets, it is important for certain people to check a few points. We would like to point out the importance of obeying contraindications during a low-carb diet for people with health problems or the following people :

• Behavioural problems (bulimia, anorexia, alcoholism, drug addiction),
• Liver and kidney diseases,
• Insulin-dependent diabetes,
• Non insulin-dependent diabetes treated with oral antidiabetes drugs,
• Cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases,
• Hereditary metabolic disorder,
• Uncorrected thyroid dysfunction,
• Allergies to milk or to milk components
Active cancer or had any treatment for cancer in the last 3 months. 

Moreover, for each product, the customer can find a detailed technical sheet mentioning the allergens contained. Information found on this technical sheet is given by our suppliers. Our responsibility could not be undertaken in the event of health problems due to allergens.
If you have any doubts about your health condition, please consult your Doctor to be sure you can go on a low-carb diet.
The responsibility of anyone related to the website or belonging to the company could not be undertaken in the event of the failure to respect these contraindications or allergies that could occur.

Article 3 / Order processing

3.1. Information
It’s up to you to check the completeness and accuracy of the order related information, especially concerning the delivery address.
We cannot be held responsible for any data entry errors and consequences (e.g. delays or delivery errors). In this context, you shall pay for costs incurred for a new order dispatch.

3.2. Anti-fraud checks
We can ask for a copy of your identity card or a proof of address; this is to protect our customers from fraud.

Article 4 / Payment

4.1. Payment terms
To settle your order, you can choose from all the methods of payment available on the order form:

4.2. Online payment
When validating your order, you guarantee that you have the necessary authorisations to use the method of payment you chose.
We certify that our entire checkout process and your account pages are encrypted using the CyberPlus protocol so your transactions remain confidential. Payment is made directly through the bank.

4.3. Full amount payment
The full order amount is due at the time of ordering, in one payment. 

Article 5: Delivery

5.1. Methods of transport
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form.
The service charged is mentioned before the order validation.
Transport and delivery are carried out by UPS.

5.2. Shipping costs
United Kingdom: £ 5.99 VAT  included, for any order.

5.3. Delivery terms
Your order is processed within the 48 working hours following your payment. UPS guarantees a delivery within 48 hours United Kingdom. A package reference number is given by UPS to allow you to follow your order. For more information, please visit the site.
When it is announced as “delivered”, Pickslim will consider your order delivered and claims will no longer be possible.

5.4. Delayed delivery
In the case of delayed delivery (8 working days after the shipping date we gave you), please consult your post-office to see if the parcel is not pending. If necessary, you can contact our customer service by phone or by e-mail to
We will then contact UPS office  to carry out an inquiry. This inquiry can take two months from the beginning of the procedure. If your parcel is not found by the term of this period, it will be forwarded immediately to your place of residence. If it is not found on the term of this period, the parcel will be regarded as lost.

Article 6: Receipt of order

6.1. The person who receives the order
The person who receives the order is responsible for it. We ask you to be particularly careful when receiving your order, and especially to check it for any possible errors.

6.2. Initial check
You are asked to check the condition of the products on the delivery with the carrier. Whoever the carrier is, if you notice a problem (damages, item missing compared to the delivery form, damaged packages, broken products etc…), please, mention it on the carrier’s delivery receipt, an inquiry will be carried out.

6.3. Defects or missing products
If the product is delivered by UPS, and if the parcel arrives unpacked or damaged  you can either accept it or refuse it upon delivery. If you decide to accept it, you have to be careful to:
Indicate on the delivery order your “handwritten reserves” about the defect and fill in the UPS“defect form”. This form should be sent to us so that we can investigate and take legal action for compensation, if necessary. If you prefer to refuse the goods, in addition to the detailed handwritten reserves, please ask the carrier to send back your order to us with a “defect report”. We advise you to keep a copy of this document.

6.4. Delivery errors

Article 7: Return terms

7.1. Effective return management
We’ll do our best to solve any problem you meet as soon as possible. To ensure a better returning process, a return request stating the reasons of the return should be sent by e-mail to the following address:

7.2. Full return of the order
We can only accept returned products that have not been opened or partially used and that are still in the original packaging and in good condition.
You must return the products with a copy of the order form.
Refund or exchange is possible only if you haven’t eaten the product and if the product returned is complete.

Article 8: Right of withdrawal

8.1. Time limit for withdrawal
According to the legislative process, you are granted a period of withdrawal of fourteen calendar days to return products that do not suit you at your expenses.

Article 9: Prices and VAT

9.1. Calculation of price
All prices on our website are in GBP and exclude post and packaging costs.

9.2. VAT
For any order delivered within EEC countries, prices include all taxes. For orders delivered  within non member countries of the EEC, the buyer is the importer of the goods concerned. As a consequence, prices exclude all taxes. Customs fees or any other local taxes are likely to be due. These taxes are to be paid by the customer, who is entirely responsible as regards both  declarations and payments to the competent authorities and bodies.

Article 10: Legal liabilities

10.1. Liability release:
Are considered fortuitous events or force majeure exempt of all responsibility any facts or circumstances unforeseeable or beyond control, and independent of the will of the parties.
